About an hour drive south of Obihiro. I parked my car and looked around the farmland on the lower reaches of the Tokachi River…there they were!
シジュウカラガン / Aleutian Canada goose
驚くほどたくさん見かけたシジュウカラガン。道路からの距離は遠く、ヒシクイより警戒心は強そうです
A surprisingly large number of Canada Geese. They are far away from the road and seem to be more cautious than Bean Geese.
ハクガン / Snow Goose
ハクガンはなかなか見つからない。ふと遠方に目を向けると飛び立ったばかりのハクガンの群れがこちらに飛んでくる！ ワクワクしながらカメラを構えたが、途中から曲がっていきました
Snow Geese were hard to find. Looked into the distance and saw the flock had just taken off flying toward me! Set up my camera, but it took a turn in the middle of the flight.
